A corner storefront along Amsterdam Avenue is flooded with light from both the south and west sides. To maximize seating and gathering space, a single counter accommodates ordering, display, and drink service. Natural wood tones and a black and white color palette create a warm and inviting neighborhood cafe.
A hot water delivery font integrated into the corian counter brings the art of matcha making directly in front of the customer. The custom tile pattern and color in the bathroom playfully reference the bright green hue of the tea. A small but fully functional kitchen is tucked behind the coffee bar area.
